Dream 85

I am riding
in the front
passenger seat
of a car

a thin
older woman
is driving

I tell her
that we have
no choice
now

the man
is dead

I turn
to reach
into the backseat
where a large
garbage bag
lays
on the floorboard

I have
a large
kitchen knife

I am reducing
his body
to smaller
parts

I see
a huge wound
where a leg
joins the hip

tell her
that there
was no way
that he
would have
survived
the initial
injury

I continue
to cut

the woman
and I
are in
a house

at a
get together
of some
sort

I have
a plateful
of food

as I walk
through
the crowd
I see the woman
with a large
shoulder bag
talking
to some other
women

I know
that no one
would ever
suspect her
of having
a sectioned corpse
inside

I also
know
that nobody
ever gets away
with a crime
like this

we need
to leave
as soon
as possible
