relaxes
his frontal lobe

lets
his gut

his heart

his groin

decide
his path
for him

interceding
intellectually
only when these
urges
may cause
a revocation
of his social
freedom

these passions
seem to drive him
in certain
directions

so he
follows
their lead

eyes gaping
expectantly
in search
of a personal
pedestrian
grail

Brother Bollocks
continues
to be guided by
his base instincts

even though
they have failed
him
so many times
in the past

because he
really doesn’t mind
those repeated
personal
shortcomings

since
his greatest
fear
is failing
along another’s
path
