seems odd
now

especially
with the latest
outrage being
a death
due to a knee
on the neck

besides
we don’t
need
a bunch
of pampered

overpaid

overplayed
professional
playground bullies
to preach to us
about the inequities
of social injustice

we certainly
don't need
their overpublicized
poses

let us hear
from the
oppressed

the abused

the falsely
accused
instead

at least
the ones
not already
murdered

they
have something
to say

we would
weigh
their words
a bit more
heavily

but of
course
they do not
have
the name
recognition

the public
adoration

the clamoring
following

at least

they don’t
yet

as they so
justly
deserve
