beyond

I am
impressed

born
at the beginning
I have always
had a fascination
with the
Space Age

but despite
all
of the accomplishments

all
of the developed
technology

we are only
rolling balls
around
in Father's
billiard room

we're proud
that we've figured
that much

looking about
in admiration
at what
we have done

until
the doorbell
rings
to disturb
our reverie
