of familiarity

then
one day
the furniture
is moved

to uncover
the cobwebs

the dead
insects

and the
mold

all of that
knowledge

all of that
information

a thin
disguise
for decay
of this
life

much as
our apparent
animation

hides
the dust
of our
bones
